Distribution of Students by Buildings
Students are distributed among the buildings as follows:
• Buildings No. 5/1, No. 5/2, No. 5/3 — international students and senior-year students, female students;
• Buildings No. 3 and No. 4 — first-year students / applicants;
• Buildings No. 1 and No. 2, as well as other accommodation facilities, if available — senior-year students, male students.
When checking in, you must have the following with you
1. Pillow, blanket, bedspread.
2. Two sets of bedding: sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase.
3. A set of dishes for one person.
4. A plastic storage container with a thermal lid, with a capacity of up to 70 liters, is recommended for kitchen use.
5. A plastic storage container with a capacity of 100 liters or more is recommended for the room and for storing personal belongings.

KBTU JASTAR CITY is a new generation dormitory, consisting of 5 buildings, where all conditions for living, studying and recreation are created. Modern, comfortable 1, 2, 3 and 4-bed rooms are furnished and provided with an Internet connection (Wi-Fi), as well as common study spaces. Household premises are equipped with automatic washing machines and ironing boards. The reading room houses a rich library, including periodicals. Furniture and household appliances are repaired and updated annually. Deratization, disinfestation of the territory, premises, basements, heat treatment of bedding, dry cleaning of carpets and upholstered furniture, repair of household appliances, recharging of fire extinguishers, and garbage removal are carried out as planned.
Since December 2023, two new nine-story residential buildings with 980 beds have been put into operation, meeting modern requirements for comfortable living, studying and holding various leisure events for students.
The buildings provide: rest rooms, kitchens, study rooms, an assembly hall with 120 seats, a dining room with 70 seats. Each building is equipped with 2 high-speed elevators, CCTV cameras and Wi-Fi access points are installed, each room has showers and toilets, and there are rooms for students with disabilities. The total area of the new buildings is 14,320 sq.m., including residential – 6,109.4 sq.m.
