By Order No. 315 dated July 11, 2022, of the Chairperson of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the list of Dissertation Councils at higher education institutions without special status was approved.
By Order No. 2029 dated November 17, 2025, of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a Dissertation Council was established at the Kazakh-British Technical University for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Professional Doctorate in the educational program 8D06103 – Mathematical and Computer Modeling.
The personal composition of the Dissertation Council was approved by the decision of the Academic Council of KBTU (Minutes No. 2 dated October 17, 2025) and by Order No. PR-0 SАM dated February 4, 2026, of M.T. Gabdullin, Rector (Chairman of the Management Board) of JSC “KBTU”.
The Dissertation Council has been established for a period of three years, until November 13, 2028.
