LLC «KBTU Metallum» is a new and perspective enterprise in area of development and production of self-fluxing powder-like our material on the basis of iron. Our company has a good laboratory-production base, has financial and organizational support from the side of propulsion MODULE of «KBTU», World Bank and Center of commercialization of technologies. A purpose of project is a production and introduction to the market of domestic self-fluxing powder-like material on the basis of iron.

Aims of project:

• sale of self-fluxing powder of PG-Zh40;

• expansion of nomenclature and volumes of renewal of threadbare details of different machines and mechanisms;

• development and making of necessary equipment, for overcoating

 

Leader of project – Mironov Vladimir Grigory, candidate of engineerings sciences.

Results:

• experimental introduction of technology is conducted;

• the technical modes are exhaust renewal of the heavily loaded details of mobile composition of railways, details of blades of turbines of power-stations with the use of the developed material.

• the special equipment is developed for the production of overcoated material.

Self-fluxing powder-like material on the basis of iron of PG-Zh40.

Properties of PG-Zh40:

• contains the coniferous forest and silicon in all range of temperatures of existence of liquid phase. Has greater affinity to oxygen, what incoming in an alloy iron. Forms at coating glassy slags, consisting mainly of V2O3 and Sio2, which emerge on the surface of the inflicted coverage, protecting him from oxidization, and instrumental in formation of dense durable layer;

• the presence of the coniferous forest and silicon is rendered by influence on such important parameter of process, as wettableness by fusion of surface of basis. The coniferous forest and silicon diminish the regional corner of moistening, promoting the same to good spreadableness of fusion and receipt dense without the coniferous forest and nonmetallics of coated metal.

• a powder-like alloy suits, to produced to hardness of coted metal, possesses stable hardness, within the limits of 35 – 45 HRC, and the working surface of details is well processed a toolpiece;

• at an alloy good fluxing properties (regional corner of moistening ≤ 500), high physical and chemical properties, with durability of tripping with a parent metal more than 40 kg/sm2, by firmness against formation of cracks, pores and nonmetallics;

• has necessary chemical and grain-size composition, hesitating in comparatively small limits and provides stability of properties of coverage and technology of coating;

• has near to spherical form of particles, that provides steady descriptions on weight and fluidity;

• has a necessary cleanness of surface of particles (oxydic tapes and other contaminations absent);

• has a temperature of melting below of temperature of melting of metal of detail made from steel;

• it is coating well at heating of gas-oxygen burner flame;

• has unlimited shelf-life in the certain terms of storage.
