KBTU School of Social Sciences Faculty Participate in International Seminars on AI in Education

From June 16 to 19, faculty members of the School of Social Sciences at the Kazakh-British Technical University took part in a series of international training seminars dedicated to the application of artificial intelligence in education and academic research. The seminars were organized by British Management University (BMU) in Tashkent.
As part of the program, participants explored advanced approaches to integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process. Insights and practical recommendations were shared by the BMU leadership, as well as international experts from the University of Reading and the University of Cambridge.
Special attention was given to the practical use of AI tools in teaching, research, and the development of the academic environment. The program also included an exchange of experience with faculty members of BMU’s Department of English, creating new opportunities for further cooperation between the universities.
On June 17, KBTU faculty members also visited Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, where they met with the university’s leadership and faculty members of language departments. During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues in language teaching at a technical university, as well as prospects for developing inter-university cooperation.
The participation of KBTU representatives in these events contributes to strengthening international academic cooperation, expanding professional ties, and introducing modern educational practices into the university’s teaching and learning process.
