A competition is announced for vacant state educational grant positions.
Students studying on a tuition-fee basis have the right to apply for transfer to a vacant state educational grant within the corresponding group of educational programs on a competitive basis in accordance with the procedures established by KBTU.
The following categories of students may apply for a vacant state educational grant position that becomes available during the course of study:
• students studying on a tuition-fee basis;
• students studying under the KBTU internal grant.
The competition is conducted based on the results of interim assessment and the Grade Point Average (GPA), with the issuance of a certificate.
In the event of equal GPA scores during the competition for vacant educational grants, priority is given to students who have received only “A” and “A-” (“excellent”) grades throughout their entire period of study. Next in priority are students whose grades range from “A”, “A-” to “B+”, “B”, “B-”, and “C+” (“good”) throughout their entire period of study.
The allocation of vacant state educational grants that become available during higher education studies is carried out during the summer and winter vacation periods on a competitive basis according to the following procedure:
