Kazakh-British Technical University JSC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, one of Malaysia’s leading public universities.
The document lays the foundation for long-term cooperation in the fields of academic activity, science, and innovation. The partnership is aimed at strengthening international ties, expanding research potential, and implementing joint initiatives of mutual interest.
Under the Memorandum, KBTU and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan plan to develop joint research in sustainable mining, mineral processing, digital technologies, and materials science. The cooperation will also include academic exchange programs for students and faculty, joint scientific publications, the exchange of academic expertise, and participation in collaborative educational and research projects.
The signing of the Memorandum marks an important step in expanding KBTU’s international cooperation and strengthening academic relations with universities in Southeast Asia. The new partnership opens up additional opportunities for advancing science, innovation, and the training of highly qualified specialists in priority areas for the university.
