Faculty members of the School of Information Technology and Engineering and researchers from Kazakh-British Technical University — Assel Mukasheva, Anel Aidos, Dinargul Mukhammedzhanova, and Dina Koishiyeva — took part in the International Conference on Information and Education Technology (ICIET) held from April 17 to 19 in Koriyama.
The conference brought together researchers, academics, and experts from various countries, including Japan, Kazakhstan, China, South Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore. The event served as an international platform for sharing advanced scientific achievements and discussing current trends in information technology, artificial intelligence, and education.
During the conference, KBTU representatives presented the research papers “An AI-Based Digital Platform for Sustainable Livestock Lifecycle Management” and “Quantifying Model Uncertainty in Fine-Grained Image Classification for Veterinary Training Applications.” The studies demonstrated modern approaches in artificial intelligence, data analysis, and digital technologies.
The presentations were delivered in an oral format, highlighting the scientific approaches, methodologies, and research outcomes. The papers attracted considerable interest from the international academic community and became a subject of professional discussion.
Participation in the conference contributed to strengthening KBTU’s international scientific partnerships and expanding collaboration with foreign research and educational institutions participating in the event.
