The winners of 38th Republic Scientific-Practical Conference of Small Academy of Science were awarded today at Round Hall of KBTU! Couple weeks ago these young men and ladies presented their scintific projects and the judges - high-qualified professors of KBTU - tried to decide who was the best.
Among the finalist we would like to notice students of 11th form - Almira Almurzayeva and Karina Tapina - who now may participate at the last tour of competition for KBTU Chemical Engineering Grant.
International Department of KBTU congratulates 1st year Master student in "Petrochemistry" Alma Sholakova with awarding of Kazenergy Scholarship!
This year Kazenergy Scholarship for Master students was sponsored by "Mangistaumunaigaz". Selective committee were making choice during several months. Finally, there were selected 5 participants including KBTU student Alma Sholakova.

Every year 3 graduates of KBTU are awarded with Total Scholarship to study at MSc in French Institute of Petroleum (IFP). Selection procedure includes selection by CV, English Exam, interview with Total representatives.
Congratulations to Ms. Aina Abenova, the second year student from the Department of Petroleum Engineering, KBTU. Her research “Effective Mature Reservoir Management: A Case Study of Reserve Estimation in Arystanovskoe Oil Field, Kazakhstan” supervised by Prof. Aleksandr Ivakhnenko, was awarded by Baker Hughes as the Best Paper from a Female Student in The Third Student International Scientific Conference “Oil and Gas Horizons 2011” that was hold in Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
