Ernst and Young Company in cooperation with the Faculty Economics & Finance invite students  to take part in the international tax contest “Young Tax Professional of the Year”.

If you are interested in tax advisory, you like solving non-standard tasks, you are looking forward to applying theoretical knowledge in practice, then, the tax contest “Young Tax Professional of the Year” is your chance to make a name for yourself!

The contest will be held in two stages: Kazakhstan and international stages.

At Kazakhstan stage, you will be required to solve a task posted on our web site. Participants who sent the most interesting solutions will be considered for the next Kazakhstan stage which will be conducted in E&Y office.

In order to the ultimate Kazakhstan winner, you will be required to demonstrate not only knowledge and competency, but also your teamwork, group leadership and presentation skills and the most important point, your ability to make prompt and correct decisions.

What you will need to do in order to take part in the contest:

    Get your task by registering at www.ey.com/kz/ytpy
    Send your reply to YTPY@kz.ey.com prior to 30 March 2012.
    The finalists will be notified on 15 May 2012.
    The final competition of the Kazakhstan stage will be conducted on 1 June 2012!

1-st place – KZT 100,000
2-d place – KZT 80,000
3-d place – KZT 50,000.

The winner will represent Kazakhstan at the International final contest to be held in Boston, USA!

Trip to Boston will be sponsored by Ernst & Young.
