INFORMATION LETTER

February 21-22, 2013 Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) holds the V International scientific-practical conference "Problems of development of innovative oil and gas industry", organized by KBTU together with KBTU SPE Students Chapter.

The purpose of this event is to promote and expand knowledge in the field of oil and gas, to improve the cooperation between the companies, scientists, universities of different countries, to discuss topical issues, the main trends and prospects of different researches, exchange of experience and professional development of members of society.

In the V international scientific-practical conference it is planned to attract representatives of leading oil and gas companies in Kazakhstan and abroad, scientists, specialist of oil and gas industry, faculty, and also students, undergraduates and doctoral students of higher education institutions from around the world.

Also it is planned to hold the Youth Forum, which, in turn, will include events such as the round table discussion on the interaction of education, science and industry, master classes by leading specialists of partner companies, workshops and intellectual team and individual games.

Next sections are proposed:

Section 1: Development and operation of oil and gas fields

Subsection 1: Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits

Subsection 2: Drilling and Completion

Subsection 3: Extraction and Transportation

Section 2: Technology of hydrocarbon and mineral resources and environmental challenges of oil and gas sector.

Section 3: Mechanics, mathematical modeling and information technologies in the oil and gas sector.

Section 4: Socio-economic problems and training issues for the oil and gas sector.

General sponsor of the V International scientific conference "Problems of innovative development of oil and gas industry," 2013 is PSN KAZSTROY company.

Conference languages: Kazakh, Russian, English.

Reports will be published in the conference proceedings.

Apply for participation in the conference is the register link, or send to one of the addresses KBTU. conference2013@mail.ru; b.absadykov@kbtu.kz completed application form and an electronic version of the report. Register no later than February 1 2013.

Authors are responsible for the scientific content, style, grammar and punctuation of the submitted materials.

The registration fee shall be transferred to the account of KBTU showing the payment order "Registration fee for participation in the conference," and name of participant. Copy of payment must be sent to the Organizing Committee.

The registration fee for participants to obtain the collection of works and the conference program is: for individuals - 5000 tenge, and for legal entities - 12,000 tenge.
