Financial and Economic Department (hereinafter - FED) is a subdivision of JSC "Kazakh-British Technical University" (hereinafter - KBTU or university).

The Department is headed by the Managing Director of Finance - Director of the FED, appointed and dismissed by order of the KBTU Rector.

The Department is subordinate to the Vice-Rector for General Issues.
