By discipline «The financial markets and intermediaries» at the initiative of students 3 courses of FEF and with support of the dean of faculty Abdrakhmanova G. T. carried out interactive game. The senior-lecturer of chair of “Finance and accounting” Koshkina O. V. was organized interactive game on May 8, 2012. In game participated 41 students of faculty. Game was carried out to 2 rounds, and winners became: Khusainov Asem, Zhiyenkozhayev to Aysaul, Tabynbayev Mizamgul, Kubzhanova Aygerim, Nurbayev Olzhas, Kim Vitaly and Tsoy Maxim.

May 3-4, 2012 in Kazakh-British Technical University jointly with «GREEN KBTU» Financial and Economic Department was "Olympics of the best universities in the city of Almaty." With the participation of such institutions as KIMEP, KBTU, UIB, SDU, KazNU, KazEU, KAU, AESA.

On April 1st, 2012 a concert devoted to the national holiday "Nauryz", which was organized by the 2 year student of FEF Almazov Olzhas, was held in the KBTU`s dormitory

The event was held in the Kazakh traditional style. The concert started with the performance of one of the famous Kazakh traditions "Tusaukeser," where the Dean of FEF - Abrahmanova Gulnar Timurovna participated.
